What to expect?

There are many places around Bologna that bear witness to the painful events of our recent past. During this Vespa tour you will retrace the history of Bologna's Resistance and the events that marked entire communities during the Second World War, visiting some of the most emblematic places.

The starting point is our agency in Bologna’s centre, where you will receive everything you need to follow the tour independently. From here you will get to Marzabotto and to Monte Sole Historical Park, which were the scene of the famous 1944 massacre at the hands of the Nazi-Fascist army. Today, the memory lives again thanks to the memorial route that leads from the park's visitor centre to the symbolic sites of the massacre, surrounded by luxuriant nature.

After a stop for lunch in a trattoria, hop on your Vespa to the impressive Sabbiuno Memorial, a monument dedicated to the fallen of the Resistance. From this height you can also admire the typical landscape of this area, furrowed by spectacular gullies.
