What to expect?

This tour is dedicated to mountain bike enthusiasts who wish to enjoy an experience surrounded by the lush nature of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines. In fact, the Path of Gods is an unmissable destination for those who love the outdoors, especially in the mountains, but also good food. During the trip, you will have the chance to taste the excellent traditional dishes of the Apennines.

The route is divided into 3 stages for a total of about 140 km, starting in Bologna and arriving in Florence, cycling partly on tarmac and partly on dirt tracks. After a flat warm-up stretch, on the first day you will reach the hamlet of Madonna dei Fornelli, close to San Benedetto Val di Sambro, not far from the Tuscan border.

The route continues on the second day by crossing the Futa pass. From there, you will head for the Mugello. After spending the night in San Piero a Sieve, on the third day you will stop in Fiesole and finally arrive in Florence, from where you can return to your starting point by train.
