A guided tour of art and history, cycling at a leisurely pace through the streets of Ferrara’s centre. With our private bike tour of Ferrara you can both discover the mediaeval soul of the city, represented in particular by the picturesque Via delle Volte and the ancient Jewish Ghetto, and also its Renaissance side.
The Palazzo dei Diamanti is certainly one of the most spectacular examples of Renaissance architecture in Ferrara. Its façade, decorated with more than 8000 pyramid-shaped marble blocks, surprises you with its elegance. The residences of the d'Este family, namely the Castello Estense and the Palazzo Municipale, are equally fascinating.
You cannot miss a stop at the Romanesque Cathedral of San Giorgio to admire its marvellous façade, and a bike ride along the city walls where the people of Ferrara often spend their free time.
