What to expect?

Find out all about the wines of Bologna's territory thanks to this wine tasting tour in the historic centre! Let our guide tell you the history of the typical vines of the area before the tasting, and talk to you about the features of the main wines types produced in the hills of Bologna, such as the famous sparkling Pignoletto DOCG. The origins of wine-growing in this area go back as far as Roman times, and today the number of winemakers is constantly increasing.

During the tour we take you for a tasting at two renowned wine shops of the city centre. But that's not all: you can also explore some of the city's most symbolic places such as the old Jewish Ghetto, Piazza Santo Stefano and the Two Towers area. The icing on the cake is a visit to a private historical palace in Strada Maggiore, where you can admire a wonderful fresco by Guercino.
